Many people think that sex offenders have "sick urges" and thus "can't help themselves". Many people hate pedophiles in particular because of the myth that sex offenders who sexually offend children cannot help their urges. The fact of the matter is that adults with sexual entitlement towards children can help themselves, with child sexual abuse being entirely preventable.
How does child sexual abuse occur? From the sex offender's perspective, it usually starts with a child crush that the sex offender does not want to acknowledge. The sex offender does not want to believe that they have a child crush, and so they push the crush on a child out of their head. The more they push the crush out of their head, the stronger it gets.
Eventually, the child crush leads the sex offender on a route to the child, with the sex offender approaching the child, then raping or sexually assaulting the child. This happens when the repressed crush on a child comes out sideways onto the child.
The way to prevent child sexual abuse, as an adult, is to masturbate to fantasies associated with your child crush. Masturbation to sexual fantasies of children is not sin according to Christian standards. The Greek root word translated "lust" or "inordinate affection" is επιθυμέω (Latin: epithumeo) and refers not to ordinary sexual desire for a child, but instead sexual desire for a child to the point of taking the first steps to approach him/her for sexual purposes.
Sex offenders can help their feelings towards children. They just need to own up to any child crush they may have, and follow it to the end in masturbation. It is good to spend away that crush using masturbatory fantasies of the child you are attracted to. It should only take a couple of sessions. If it keeps going on, you are a pedophile, but know that you have control over your actions even as a pedophile, and that masturbation is good to purge unwanted sexual feelings from your system.
The depraved and decadent, defiled sex offenders who sexually abuse children will not inherit the Kingdom of God! They will BURN in torrents of Hell-fire! Repent!
