Glossary of terms

Pedophilia - Primary or exclusive sexual attraction to children under age 14.

Adult/parental (sexual) entitlement - Wanting things from a child, to the point of imposition towards said child, leading to theft/abuse. Adult sexual entitlement refers to sexual want towards a child to the point of approach.

Adult - Individual aged 18 and up.

Child - Individual aged from conception to age 18, or else older in the home context when living with parents.

Parent - Either a natural, legal, and/or identified caregiver of children, with "identified" indicating abuse by said parent (in either identified or exemplary case only in text).

Original sin/depraved sin nature/etc. - Any form or level, or all levels, of want or entitlement, especially parental entitlement.

Pro-spanking parent - Parents who defend pro-spanking entitlement on cultural, religious, or ideological grounds.

Punishment - At minimum, ordering a child to do something or not do something, with "or else" threats that unpleasant consequences will occur.
