Have a Merry Christmas, and may we remember the reason for the season - Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, as we commemorate the eve of His birth.
Think mother Mary. That's how all mothers were then towards children in biblical times, as all children were seen as signs of God, thus were extended in place of God.
