Mandated reporting: Alternatives to reporting non-offending pedophiles

Many people support mandatory reporting laws. It is good to be able to stop child abuse in its tracks. However, in recent years, pedophiles, including children with the disorder, are sounding the alarm about their mental health rights to treatment without fear of being reported to the authorities. What could we do better for that population? I propose we instead instill individual responsibility in adults who abuse children, and have laws to back it up.

It says in 1 Corinthians 5:11 KJV:

But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, with one an one no not to eat.

The Greek root word translated "covetous" is πλεονέκτης (Latin: pleonektés) and here refers to parental entitlement, or wanting things from or of children to the point of imposition, or in the case of adult sexual entitlement, desire to the point of taking the first steps to sexually assault or rape a child. The idea is pro-social non-association, meaning do not associate with anyone who abuses a child in any way if they are defensive about their abuse. This will lead to the abusive adult hitting bottom eventually, and then turning themselves in.

This is a two-pronged educational campaign, educating at-risk adults about their risk to children, and how to prevent cases of child abuse, as well as education for children as to how to report their abuser, and what is abuse and what isn't.

We also need more streamlined child abuse definitions, with child abuse being defined as whatever the child finds as offensive, with children more likely to self-report at their own will abuse. A child should just be able to call 9-1-1 and report their parents or other adult to the police for abuse, just like with any other form of crime or abuse.

I am not a mandated reporter, hence I am a safe person to talk to about pedophilic issues, and a safe person to discuss child abuse issues to when the victim does not want adults to make a report. I do treat myself as a confessor around children in particular, but also pedophiles.

Let the depraved and defiled adult fornicators of children BURN! Repent!

Any comment that

will not be published. Flexible application. Debate is allowed, but only civil arguments that presume the best of intentions in their opponent, on both sides.

The word "no": Why children need to hear the word "no" seldom (meaning almost never)

Many parents think that children need to hear the word "no" frequent and often. This is a common attitude on the part of American ...
