Many people think pedophile sensitivity is treating a pedophile like royalty. It is actually easy to be sensitive to a pedophile. Pedophilia is a mental health disorder involving sexual attraction to children under age 14.
Why should we care about pedophiles? As a child advocate, I might say that the most oppressed of children are pedophilic children. Usually, they are the type of child that just does not sit down and take it, instead running parents into the ground until the parents find more positive solutions.
Pro-social ignorance and pro-social listening are key acronyms to pedophile sensitivity. Do not assume anything about the pedophile. I myself am a pedophile, and have found that those that were the most understanding assumed nothing, and said that they did not know how to treat me. If you can admit that you don't know how to treat a pedophile, then you are sensitive to the needs of pedophiles, without trying to be.
If you don't know what it is like to be a pedophile, don't judge...
