Many people think "children's rights" is a sexualizing term. I use it nonetheless for what it means to me - children have rights, and children like I was had rights. We as a movement have a dark history of normalization of sexual abuse and perversion towards children. Yes, I am a pedophile, but I believe in sexual purity in terms of action, meaning sex with another person, including a child, is a marriage, and outside of a legal marriage, a false marriage.
In the 1970s, when the movement started, there were pro-pedophile groups and anti-pedophile groups of gentle parents. The pro-pedophile camp wanted to include pedophiles, and were highly sexualized gentle parents in terms of nudity. This wasn't a free for all, but older men were excused with having sex with a teenage daughter within the law.
In the 1990s, several of our advocates at anti-pedophile dreamt up ways to give the pedophile abusers who came here what they wanted - sex with children. It was a test to see how grateful they were for the solution, which required some sacrifice on their part towards their "partner".
Those days are over now that I am here. It says in Colossians 3:21 KJV:
Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they become discouraged.
The Greek root word translated "Provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to the offenses in the legal context of the Bible, with one of them being fornication, denoted by the Greek root word πορνεία (Latin: porneia) which refers to the slightest of sexual contact perceived by a child, stemming from leering/menacing to rape/lust murder. Title IX was handed down by God as a guide for the authorities to prosecute sexual abuse based on severity.
We need to draw the line somewhere, and we should draw it at the most inclusive, everyday place possible, so we cover our bases. Enough of pandering to pedophiles on the age of consent. Many of us find it insulting to be given something we know we can't have, here at pedophiles. I know, as a pedophile, seeing children on my level, that it won't work. They aren't interested, or maybe if they are, have a different idea of what they want. It just won't work. That's what fantasy is for, because everything works in fantasy, like nothing does in real life.
