Children's rights is for everyone (not just the left - quit the partisanship)

Where did children's rights start? Feminism. Who will it end with? Everyone, and then the children included as a constituency. If you don't want to work with conservative politicians and constituents on this issue, you are putting your party ahead of children. You are losing sight of what children's rights actually is.

Happens a lot in this country. Why is this happening? Look at what is happening in Washington, DC. Politicians are ignoring us. 70% of adults support spanking/corporal punishment, and 94% physically punish or strike their child at least occasionally (and at least out of impulse) - and that anti-child attitude seeps into our movement. To a lesser degree, but the trickle of anger and hatred of children is still there (albeit in remorseful form). The whole country hates children, and so many here have a lot to work on compared to other countries. In other countries, that attitude would not even be thought of. Here?...*eye roll*I'm done with adults in this country. Put them into submission, then put yourself into submission last. Humble them in front of their child, and convict them of reverent respect.
