Time-in: Why mammary closeness is the Christian way of doing time-in

Many parents think that crying and upsets in children are bad behavior deserving of punishment. The most common form of punishment for children in America today is forced time-out, and maybe also the occasional disciplinary spanking. However, these methods are no way to bring up a child. Time-in is the right way to deal with crying and upsets in children, and there is a biblical way to do time-in - mammary closeness with mothers.

The proper application of time-in involves the Christian doctrine of mutual submission, where the child rests securely in the loving arms of mothers. See Colossians 3:20-21 KJV:

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to secure, vulnerable rest in the love and submission of parents. Children are to rest securely in the sacrifice of parents, just as parent believers rest securely in the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This implies that parents are to be extensions of Christ in the family home, dutifully and selflessly submitting to children just as they would to God, expecting absolutely nothing in return, with children resting safely and securely in the wake of parent submission. Parents are to submit to children as their enemy, from beneath yet from above, revering and fearing children as vulnerable extensions of God.

The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to damages or offenses, namely the slightest of personal offense perceived by a child, including, but not limited to, the slightest of offensive touch or speech perceived by a child, stemming from entitlement. This commandment was intended by the Apostle Paul, and understood in its original context, as a moral statute prohibiting all forms of punitive parenting, including any punishments or controlling demeanor towards children. In the Old Testament, punitive parents were put to death by way of bloodletting, after punishing their children one last time. Parents who punish their children were charged with kidnapping, with "kidnapping" being defined under the Law as the slightest of damages or offenses stemming from hostage-taking - child punishment was seen in biblical times as holding your child hostage merely for things that they did wrong, thereby treating your child as a quartered slave. Paul here was lifting up the Law in order to convict a group of Greek Christian who brought their pagan custom of spanking and punishing children into the church. Paul, contrary to popular legend, was anti-spanking, and opposed any and all punishment of a child in his writings.

Time-in has a special, righteous application that is Christian in nature. That application involves mammary closeness. For the first 6 years of a child's life, children were in constant closeness to mothers, meaning that wherever the mother went, the child went with her. Mothers provided for their children in the form of birth nudity, where mother and child were naked next to each other, in skin-on-skin closeness and intimacy. Whenever a child cries, the mother cooed and then held the crying child close to her bosom, perhaps breastfeeding in the process if the child was milk-hungry. This closeness to the bosom is called mammary closeness. Mothers were naked whenever in the family home, as was the man when he got home. Children were naked wherever they went until being baptized as adults. This setup of family nudity helped mothers bond more closely with their children with ease.

When mothers were in public, young children - up until age 6 - were swaddled next to the bosom of mothers in swaddling blankets, with mothers perhaps breastfeeding in public if summoned to by her child. One end of the blanket was tied to her left breast, and the other side tied across the dot to her right leg, or vice versa, or both in the case of twins, with the child tucked underneath the mother's thin, revealing dress. Swaddling young children kept them from eloping, and also ensured a secure attachment between parents and children.

Mammary closeness works as a form of time-in because it causes traction between the mother and child that soothes both parties. The female breasts in women were intended for nurturing, not primarily for the sexual attention of men. As soon as a mother starts using skin-on-skin mammary closeness, she will surely regret not using that method in parenting earlier. It is best if the mother care for the home and her children while naked, while allowing children to be naked. When a child is crying, co-snuggling in skin-on-skin format will alleviate the pain that the child is feeling, and reassure them that mom is right there for them.

The depraved and entitled parents who provoke your children to anger through punitive parenting will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Let them forever be cast into the lake of fire and burning sulfur, which is the second death prepared for Satan and his accomplices! Let them descend into the abyss which is the ever-burning Hell of fire and torment, suffering God's Wrath forever and ever! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
