Divorce and children: Why divorce is acceptable under God's Law (how punishment was dealt with legally in the Early Church)

Divorce is a common occurrence in the United States, with 50% of marriages ending in divorce. Most marriages are linked to domestic violence of some sort, which is any entitlement imposed on a spouse, meaning all domestic violence is spousal entitlement perceived.

Divorce is not a sin for a woman, but is for a man. It says in 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 KJV:
And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her be unmarried or else reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

This refers to the moral legal concept of many warnings. In the Early Church, a woman would warn her husband repeatedly that he was entitled and was crossing boundaries, or was inept at providing for her, and as many times as he defended himself instead of apologized, was as many times as he was deserving of losing his family through divorce.

A man has a specific duty to his wife. See Colossians 3:18-19 KJV:

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit unto the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

The Greek root word translated "love" is αγαπαο (Latin: agapao) and refers to putting your wife first, and you last, to the point of dutiful and selfless submission to woman, expecting absolutely nothing in return for serving woman. The Greek root word translated "submit" is υποτασσο (Latin: hupotasso) and refers to reverence for one's husband leading to willful cooperation with husbands, meeting him in the middle. It was a form of loyalty - wives weren't expected to love their husbands, but simply to be loyal to them as husbands wooed them and provided for them.

Divorce was how punitive parents were discovered in the Early Church. Usually, it was the man punishing a child, usually with the Christian man being of Greek descent being married to a Hebrew woman. Women gave many warnings to their husbands, and if they didn't heed the warning, and the child continued to suffer punishment, the marriage contract was terminated. God set the rule that divorced women stay single to keep out child predators who may prey on the situation.

Woman is to serve man when he deserves it. Man is to serve woman regardless. The two meet in the middle. Let the domestic abusers of children and women alike BURN in everlasting Hell-fire! Repent!
