Understanding parental entitlement (and why it is the main risk to children today)

Many parents and adults think only people "over there" are a danger to children. Most advocates here at children's rights use the victim/narcissist method of profiling abusers, thereby cutting victims a break. I don't profile abusers in conformity with the movement, but profile abusers based on the anti-entitlement system, meaning you are either entitled or not entitled, guilty or not guilty. There is no in between because the parents test as victims.

The one word to avoid as a parent is πλεονέκτης (Latin: pleonektés), which refers to entitlement. Entitlement, officially defined, is want to the point of imposition, or want to the point of taking the first steps towards sexual relations with a child in the case of adult sexual entitlement. However, why want anything from a child at all? Want from children is at the very core of our sin nature as adults, and the core of what we call parental entitlement. Don't we all want something from children as depraved adults?

I am a depraved and entitled adult deserving of DEATH and DESTRUCTION merely for my existence in relation to children. I am to hate and despise my own nature in relation to children, for I am a wicked and depraved sinner without hope...

...except there is hope! Submit to Christ, and work for Him! Praise the Lord, for I have been convicted of the rights of the child, above my own rights! I have no rights, as I have turned myself into the Lord through children, with children being extensions of God!

I have a case of parental entitlement, with "pedophilia" being a quirky, man-made label for my condition. I am entitled to nothing from children, but grateful for all of the trust I have earned undeservingly from children. I am an evil and wicked adult that deserves nothing but punishment for my wretched existence, yet Christ somehow has hope for me.

The depraved and entitled adults who defend provoking children to anger will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Let them burn in the lake of fire and burning sulfur, which is the second death prepared for Satan and his accomplices! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

2. Imposes want to the point of imposition, meaning entitlement.
3. Contains self-entitled parent rhetoric, to the point of self-victimization

will not be published. Flexible application. Debate is allowed, but only civil arguments that presume the best of intentions in their opponent, on both sides.
