Pro-social deification, pro-social child worship: Why children are extensions of God

Many adults believe that children were treated harshly in biblical times. This is a common fallacy about the biblical context. Most Americans still believe that the Bible allows for the punishment of children. The fact of the matter is that ancient Israel and adjoining churches were child worshipping societies, and pro-social child worship is an aspect of Jewish and Christian life applicable to today.

Jesus Christ said in Matthew 25:45-46 KJV:

Then shall he answer unto them, saying, Verily, I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye dud it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not unto me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

This commandment from Christ mandates the pro-social child worship of children, which was central to Hebrew and Christian parenting. Children were seen as vulnerable yet convicting extensions of God. The Hebraic understanding of God on earth is that He appears in the most vulnerable of individuals, in a way that convicts the hardened of heart, and that includes the hardened of heart towards children. Children acted in place of God in Christian homes in the 1st Century, and struck their parents with reverent fear and terror, convicting them of their depraved sin nature as adults.

Every single parent and adult is guilty in relation to children, and are deserving of DEATH and DESTRUCTION in relation to children, with parents especially being called and commanded to be meek and shamefaced in relation to children, with parents prioritizing their child's needs first, and their own needs last, leading to complete dutiful and selfless submission to the every vulnerable need of children, expecting absolutely nothing in return from children, with this unconditional Christian love being denoted by the Greek root word αγαπαο (Latin: agapao), with parents submitting to their children from above, and children resting in the love and grace of children from beneath. See Colossians 3:20-21 KJV:

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to secure, vulnerable rest in the love and grace of parents, just as adult believers rest in the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Attachment parenting was the normative form of parenting in biblical times, and is the time-honored form of parenting worldwide. Mothers were heavily involved with their children, wrapping up even older children next to them in swaddling blankets, with a bare naked child wrapped to a mother's bosom constantly when younger, and while alternating with free play when older. Children were weaned at an average age of 3 years, with older children cuddling and snuggling with mothers, going everywhere mothers went. In the Early Church, unlike ancient Israel, girls could be educated if they wanted to, usually with the assumption that they'd become a church deacon or elder. Children went in the nude in biblical times, and this was so that mothers could easily engage in skin-to-skin closeness with them. Closeness was a goal for Christian parents in the 1st Century, in a restful type of way, with children running to and surrendering to the loving arms of parents, resting in the safety and security of parents.

The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to provocations to anger, as defined as the slightest of personal offense perceived by the child, stemming from entitlement. This commandment was intended by the Apostle Paul and the legal context that he was writing from to include any form of punitive parenting, including punishment and control such as spanking, whipping, whupping, or other forms of corporal punishment. Any force in parenting was prohibited then and deemed kidnapping. The Apostle Paul here was admonishing Greek Christians who used the book of Proverbs to justify punishing children. Paul would have none of it in his churches, and recommended attachment parenting today in parenting manuals handed out to the offenders who were offending children. The seven verses in the book of Proverbs that reference the rod of correction are repealed verses, as they refer to a dated legal punishment linked to the death penalty in the Old Testament - the 40 minus 1 lashes with the rod of correction. Corporal punishment in the Old Testament was linked entirely to the death penalty, and was meant as a harrowing, once-in-a-lifetime experience that you were spared because your unlawful habits, which were treated with plenty of warnings beforehand, were put to rest, and if you were to continue down that road, the offender would be put to rest after an execution. It was a warning that if you re-offended, you were to be put to death immediately. This existed only for ADULT children of Hebrew parents, and only in the Old Testament. The Early Christians instead enforced law using pro-social non-association. Children were deemed incompetent to stand trial, as they were assumed to be ignorant of the law until fully taught. The defense of infancy under Judeo-Christian law lasted until the age of majority.

Children were seen in biblical times as signs of what God wanted of parents, and adults in general. Harming a child in any way was seen as harming or offending God. Children were revered and feared for their vulnerability, with their vulnerable stature in society striking reverent fear and terror in parents, issuing lawful and binding orders as to their needs.

Children in biblical times weren't expected to "ask nicely", as Christian parents then held knowledge lost in today's society about children - children can't "ask nicely". They do not have the verbal nor impulse control skills to "ask nicely". So, parents simply listened to the forceful and tone-deaf orders of their children, and allowed themselves to be policed by their children. This is policing attachment, and is the deepest level of secure attachment, where the child extends a stophand to parents to menace to the parents for their needs, with the parents surrendering to children as if they were God, engaging in pro-social child worship for seeing their child as in place of God.

The depraved and entitled parents who provoke children to anger will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Let them burn in the lake of fire and burning sulfur, which is the second death prepared for Satan and his accomplices! Let them descend into the everlasting fire of Hell and torment, suffering God's wrath for all eternity! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
