Why all control is sin in parenting

 Most parents in America are child abusers, and punish their children by way of spanking, slapping, hitting, false imprisonment, and other forms of control...and THAT, is what gentle parenting opposes in parenting more than anything, with control being defined broadly. A gentle parent is a self-inflicted peacekeeper, mean self-control all around, starting at the parent level, going up.

These days, I am not so much anti-spanking, bur anti-control. I am a pedophile, and an actual clinical pedophile wants to spare children of what violence and control they experienced as a child. We repeat the cycle by going in the complete opposite direction, but letting them do whatever they want without limits or boundaries, to the point of corrupting children.

Merely seeking to control your child is entitlement, and is denoted in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 KJV:

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

The Greek root word translated "covetous" is πλεονέκτης (Latin: pleonektés) and refers to not only wanting things from children, but wanting to the point of seeking to impose said item onto a child, to the point of theft/abuse. This includes the attitude of "I am a good, loving parent, and so I want my child to listen" leading to controlling, pushy, begging, and/or punitive parenting choices. It can be seen as a rectangular arrow going towards the child, or an extension cord strangulating or whipping the child. Entitlement leads to theft, which is denoted by the Greek root word κλεπτω (Latin: kleptó) and refers to damages, and is one of many words referring to damages in the New Testament. See Colossians 3:21 KJV:

Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they become discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to "stirring up" or "upbraiding" a child, leading to short-term legal damages. Legal damages that pertained to children were (not an exhaustive list) pain, shame, defamation of character, fornication, emotional damages, and so forth, guided by parental entitlement, with any damages being perceived at the level of din to be admissible in the church court.

Parenting in ancient Jewish culture was attachment based, with infancy lasting until age 3, and mothers remaining close to their children - until age 6 with boys, and until age 12 with girls. Children ranged next to their mother, and with the father standing by to protect the family from intruders. Wives/mothers had the right to divorce in the Early Christian churches, including in the case of abuse, including sexual abuse. Punishing children was illegal in ALL instances, and punishable by chenek or hanging and blood-letting the parent in the Old Testament, which was a legendary legal punishment in the Early Church...The rod of correction existed for adults, not children, and consisted of 40 stripes with the rod of correction, in a courtroom setting, administered by a father of a son who ran afoul of the law, and was a legal adult - age 13 and up, and literate of the law. Punishment, by the biblical standard, is for someone who knows better, not a child who needs to be taught instead.

The depraved and entitled parents will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! I am not entitled to anything from a child, and they are entitled to everything from me. I control no child. Only myself in relation to them.
