"Being a child's friend": What providing custody really looks like

Many parents in this country believe in the lie that they are the authority over their children, alongside a whole line of adults. However, the Bible does not see parents as authority figures, but instead custodial providers to children. What does this look like?

What is Christian love in parenting? The Greek root word translated "love" is αγαπαο (Latin: agapao) and refers to a form of submission to children, from beneath yet from above. It is being convicted of deserving DEATH and DESTRUCTION merely for existing in relation to children, leading to the parent submitting to the every need of a child as her servant, being bound and beholden to said child in a form of involuntary servitude and servile attitude towards the child.

It says in Colossians 3:20-21 KJV:

Children, obey your parents in all things, as is well-pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they become discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to surrender to parents in the form of secure attachment and rest, meaning that I can tell my parents anything, and they will listen and validate. That includes things that most people won't understand. The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to short-term damages such as pain, shame, fornication, or defamation of character, guided by entitled tendencies inherent of all adults. Punishing a child was illegal under Jewish law then, and punishing an adult was only legal within a judicial setting, when the defendant was proven to be guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Parenting in ancient Jewish culture was attachment-based, with boys remaining with their mother until age 6, and girls until age 12, with infancy lasting until age 3 with both sexes.

How would this appear in real life? A friendship, but an unequal one. I myself am smaller than her for being bigger, meaning her needs would have more priority than mine, with said child standing in high judgment above me, standing on a high pillar, striking terror into me as an entitled adult in relation to her. Pro-social ragdoll. Pro-social passivity. Pro-social selflessness. Pro-social servitude. It would be a parent and child hanging out, with the child dragging me around, showing to me what she needs, and I obey blindly in a validating manner.

Let the entitled parents burn in the lake of fire and brimstone, suffering the second death! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
