Pro-social deification, pro-social child worship: Why biblical society was child worshipping society

Many parents think that biblical times were harsh times for children. This is a common view of the biblical context by American parents, and it is often used to scare children into being grateful. However, the fact of the matter is that Ancient Israel and the Early Church were actually child worshipping societies, not child enslaving societies or child sacrificing societies.

It says in Matthew 25:45-46 KJV:

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily, I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.

Children were seen as the "least of these" in biblical times, meaning they were seen as extensions of God, meaning sentries of God, appointed by God to judge parents and other adults righteously as to how charitable they were to them. Children were seen as appointed by God to bring out the charity in parents and other adults. Children were seen as reporting straight to God as to how charitable parents or other caregivers actually were, with children working hand in hand with God shoveling uncharitable scrooges of parents into Hell. Pro-social child worship is regarding your child as an extension of God in this regard, working alongside God to make sure adults were charitable towards the "least of these", including especially children.

Parents are to submit to children just as they would God, in mutual submission format. It says in Colossians 3:20-21 KJV:

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to secure, vulnerable rest in the love and grace of parents. Children are to rest securely in the sacrifice of parents, just as parent believers rest securely in the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Parents are to be extensions of Christ in the family home, dutifully and selflessly submitting to children as one would God, expecting absolutely nothing in return, with children resting safely and securely in the wake of parental submission. Children are to rest safely and securely in the presence of children, trusting parents in all things, following mothers especially around like goslings to a mother goose.

The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to damages or offenses, namely the slightest of personal offense perceived by a child, including, but not limited to, the slightest of offensive touch or speech perceived by a child, coming from entitlement. This commandment was intended by the Apostle Paul, and understood in its original context, as a moral statute prohibiting all forms of punitive parenting, including any punishments or controlling demeanor towards children. In the Old Testament, punitive parents were put to death by way of bloodletting, after punishing their children one last time. Parents who punished their children were charged with kidnapping, with "kidnapping" being defined under the Law as the slightest of damaged or offenses stemming from hostage-taking - child punishment was seen as holding your child hostage merely for things they did wrong, thereby treating your child as a quartered slave. Paul here was lifting up this legal context in order to convict a group of Greek Christian parents who brought their pagan custom of spanking and punishing children into the church. Paul, contrary to popular legend, was anti-spanking, and was opposed to any and all punishment of a child.

How were children seen in biblical culture? Children were seen as next to God. Children were viewed by the Israelites and their Christian successors as extensions of God, namely sentries of God called to righteously judge the charity of parents and other adults towards children. They were believed to work and in hand with God to mark the landscape, and the people in it, as either saved or unsaved based on how much they cared about children. Children were seen as having a specific deity that was representative of God, and parents were expected by everyone in society to seek to win over the good graces of their children. Parents would pray for mercy to through their children to God.

Ultimately, what all these honorifics for children came down to was, in practical terms, nourishment and sustenance, meaning attachment parenting items such as breastfeeding and skin-on-skin co-sleeping. Children, in the home, ranged besides mothers, with both mother and child in the nude, with the nudity set up by society in order to ensure optimum skin-on-skin bonding time between mother and child. When mothers went out and about, children up until age 6 were wrapped up against the bare bosom of mothers, in swaddling blankets. Children past age 6 ranged beside mothers wherever they went. Mothers used skin-on-skin comforting strategies to comfort crying children of all ages, with mothers co-snuggling with children in order to soothe their upsets. Fathers stood guard, wielding a rod and staff in order to beat intruders (meaning NOT children) who posed a danger to his family. Fathers also formed a secure attachment with their children, after witnessing skin-on-skin bonding between mother and children. Fathers usually developed a sexual attachment to their children, of the connotational type, usually to daughters. Fathers were instructed by church leadership to follow the sexual thoughts about their children to the end using masturbatory fantasy. Daughters usually had an attraction to fathers that lasted until puberty, leading to a mutually unrequited sexual dynamic between father and child. Child sexual abuse, in biblical times, was very rare, but when it did happen, it was seen as deserving of death.

The depraved and entitled parents who provoke their children to anger through punitive parenting will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Let them be forever cast into the lake of fire and burning sulfur, which is the second death prepared for Satan and his accomplices! Let them descend into the abyss which is the ever-burning Hell of fire and torment, suffering God's Wrath forever and ever! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
