Policing attachment: The biblical case for the deepest level of secure attachment

Secure attachment is a term associated with attachment parenting. It is the goal of all attachment parents worldwide. Some researchers make the case for less than secure attachment, thinking children can thrive without it. However, God wants you to reach for the stars as a parent, and this refers to a specific form of attachment parenting known as policing attachment. This is the most honest and transparent forms of secure attachment, where secure attachment leads to righteous enslavement to the child as an attendant caregiver to the child.

Every single parent and adult is guilty in relation to children, and is deserving of DEATH and DESTRUCTION merely for existing in relation to children, with parents being meek and shamefaced in relation to children. Parents especially are to put their children first, and themselves last, leading to complete dutiful and selfless submission from above, expecting absolutely nothing in return from children or other, with this being Christian love, denoted by the Greek root word αγαπαο (Latin: agapao). This leads to secure rest and respite in the love and grace of parents from below. See Colossians 3:20-21 KJV:

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to secure, vulnerable rest in the love and grace of parents. Attachment parenting was the norm in biblical times, with mothers wrapping up even older children with swaddling blankets, with children as old as 10 wrapped up in the nude next to their mother's bare skin, in skin-to-skin closeness, snuggling next to their children, with children being weaned at a late age of 3 years. Secure attachment was the goal of every Hebrew and Christian parent, and that meant secure attachment in the policing tense, or children giving orders to a caregiver, and with parent caregivers then surrendering to the reverent demands of their children, struck with reverent fear and terror as to the child's needs.

The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to provocations to anger imposed upon children, as defined as the slightest of personal offense perceived by the child, including the slightest of unwanted touch. This was intended by the Apostle Paul and the surrounding legal context to prohibit all form of punishment and control in parenting, including corporal punishment, making the ban on spanking in ancient Israel a universal command. Paul was rebuking scofflaw parents who were using the book of Proverbs to justify their pagan custom of spanking children. The seven verses in the book of Proverbs that depict the rod of correction are repealed verses, as they refer to a dated legal punishment imposed on ADULT children of Hebrew parents (never minor children) - the 40 minus 1 lashes with the rod of correction. The Early Church did not use capital nor corporal punishment in law enforcement.

Policing attachment is the most honest and transparent of all forms of secure attachment. It involves a child giving lawful and binding orders as to what they need to parents or other adults. It is allowing children to make their own choices in matters that concern them, to the degree that they can, in a way that simply drags parents along like a human ragdoll. Children call the shots, and give orders as to what park they want to play at, what restaurant they want to eat at, or what is for dinner at home. For large families with more than one child, a tally vote by a show of hands as to where to go out to eat. The children have every right to overrule the wishes of the parents, which differentiates this practice from democratic parenting.

"Democratic" parenting is what I grew up with, which was that you could beg, but the parents had the final say, and they usually let power get to their head. They could say "no" and veto your bill, so to speak, just because "I don't feel like it" or "I am stressed". If you take children seriously, you go by THEIR vote, not your own. You obey what they want on issues like where to go out to eat, maybe agreeing then to go to where the minority vote wanted to eat the next time.

The depraved and entitled parents will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Let them burn in the lake of fire and burning sulfur, which is the second death, which is Satan's tomb! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
