What is parental entitlement? Many parents want things from children, and make demands on children. Little do they know what this is. I myself am a convicted adult, as the subtitle of my blog shows. I am convicted of my original sin, which is parental entitlement.
I myself am entitled, depraved sinner in relation to children, and am entitled to nothing from children, being instead grateful for everything in relation to children. I am deserving of nothing but DEATH and PUNISHMENT in relation to children as an adult in relation to them, as I struggle with parental entitlement in the form of sexual entitlement towards children as an adult.
I myself was abused by parental entitlement from adults, thus I am my own abuser in the reverse, but still my abuser because my collective abuser is adults. I police the adults, as a policing victim of adults and survivor of childhood, presuming innocence beyond a reasonable doubt, but reading adults like a card reader, with due suspicion.
Parental entitlement is the number one threat to children, and it exists in all of us. All child abuse and neglect is linked to parental entitlement to some degree. Pedophiles only account for 5% of sexual offenses against children, whereas parental entitlement accounts for all of it, whereas all of us depraved and entitled adults have entitlement in us. It says in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV:
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, and ye are sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and the Spirit of our God.
And that underlined is all you need to know. Praise the Lord Jesus, for a few of us adults have turned ourselves into our children through Christ our Lord, and we have been reborn. Many will be called, but few chosen, and we gentle parents and the children we defend are the chosen few. We advance God's Kingdom and promote gentle, attached parenting nationwide.
