Life. Liberty. Pursuit of happiness - the American case for a spanking ban

Many parents spank and punish their children, with 70% of parents supporting spanking and quite a few being struggling abusers to their children, meaning they aren't there yet. Most anti-spanking parents in the United States do spank their children, but out of haste and don't want to be in that habit.

Many parents, anti-spanking or pro-spanking, do not see why it is within our nation's values to include children and their views, and not punish their worldview and feelings about the world with spanking and punishment.

God's Law is above the law of the land, and natural law prohibits the physical and mental punishment of children. It says in Colossians 3:20-21 KJV: 

Children, obey your parents in everything: as is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to secure, warm rest in the love and grace of parents, just as adult believers rest in the love and grace of Jesus Christ, with children able to be anything and anyone in relation to parents, being able to share anything and everything with parents, with parents expecting absolutely nothing in return. Children should be close to parents, leading to respect and admiration approaching adulthood, wanting to follow the example of parents. Children in biblical times were the needy type. Children demanded things from parents, and then parents supplied the needs of children, then everything was neutralized, with children holding parents into account with reverent rebellion. Children up to age 3 were breastfed and otherwise were treated as infants, with children up until adulthood co-sleeping in the nude with mothers at night. The spirit of this context apply to American parents as natural law for parents to follow and children to benefit from. 

The Greek root word translated "obey" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and literally refers to "stirring up" anger and resentment in children, as in the Jewish adage of "stirring the pot" in terms of your child's emotional welfare. This ultimate refers to offenses against children under natural law, namely the slightest of personal offense perceived by a child. The Apostle Paul was giving a divine command to all Christendom prohibiting all punishment of children, warning Greek members of the Colossian church community who relied on corporal punishment that spanking was banned under the Law. Spanking is already banned in the United States, but under natural law, which commands the mutual surrender of parents and children, with parents paying due respect to their children first, then children reciprocating.

Children have three main rights under the natural law of this country. Life. Liberty. Pursuit of happiness. Children's rights is the model for sexual abuse prevention and punishment in most parts of the United States, meaning most Americans know what to do when they meet a pedophile, roughly, meaning we now need to reel back certain things that society took too far. If the children's rights community can educate parents at a low level about sexual abuse prevention, through word of mouth, the primary prevention of physical abuse can be passed along through word of mouth as well. The idea is to raise up the law, clearing your court-space, then hammering your opponent with a list of facts that takes their pro-spanking "values", and tears them apart. Anti-Parent is an aspect of children's rights that we save for the other side. We hide as concerned, caring parents and adults in relation to children, and are shut up and shamefaced in the Lord so the talkative, demanding parents who spank and punish their children stand out, then pass the torch forward, judging parents righteously, presuming innocence beyond a reasonable doubt, but with due suspicion of what lies beyond what the eye can see. We see through that reverse window, and we will bring justice to that child by pointing you out and scouting you out to our Lord, with a nod and a grin. We know where you are headed, dear pro-spanking parents, and it's nowhere but "down". Mow down the sea of faces that is adults in the United States, and shut them all up with your shining Christian example, being the salt and light of the world as children's rights Christians. Let anti-spanking plow over the sea of adults in the United States, creeping up - in your city, in your state, in your ZIP code. We are gentle parents, and we are the saints, and we exist wherever you are right now, and we are expanding as the compound that we are, and we hide, so you can find us...the quiet, shy parents who dote on their child, and befriend their child. I am an entitled adult just as you are, and wear my stripes by way of identifying by the mental disorder that puts me at risk, and showing symptoms in relation to children. Wear your stripes, dear parents, and you will be commended by God for your pro-social self-humiliation.

The depraved and entitled parents who provoke children to anger, and all the adults that promote their evil, will not inherit the Kingdom of God, and will be judged accordingly. Let them burn in the lake of fire and burning sulfur, which is the second death prepared for Satan and his accomplices! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
