What is child abuse? Introducing perception-based definitions of child abuse (rethinking mandated reporting)

What is child abuse? Many think of it as a debatable subject, especially among mandated reporters here in the United States. Mandated reporting refers to professionals, namely in school and church settings, being able to report suspected child abuse to the authorities that is unlawful according to the civil laws. Child abuse, however, is a moral concept of the Christian sort, not a legal one.

It says in Colossians 3:21 KJV:
Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they become discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and literally translates to "stirring up" children, meaning legal damages to the child, namely the slightest of personal slights perceived by the child, with entitled intent. Entitlement denotes the Tenth Commandment, and is repeated in the New Testament by the Greek root word πλεονέκτης (Latin: pleonektés) and refers to wanting things from children to the point of seeking to impose on said child, leading to said offense from a child. It is an attitude of "I am a good parent/adult, and so children owe me respect/affirmation" leading to demanding, controlling, manipulating, or spousifying behavior that makes the child feel threatened, annoyed, or otherwise upset.

America is a Christian nation, and was founded on Judaeo-Christian family values. The concept of civil liberties is based off of the concept of non-entitlement, meaning being tolerant of the existence of your neighbor, and that means the developmental immaturity of children is to be tolerated, just like tolerating the quirks of any other fellow member of society. Thus, spanking is already banned in this country, but the civil laws haven't caught up.

What do I want? No mandated reporting...because it has been made obsolete by self-reports from children in an active or past-tense abuse situation, with the child being the boss of whatever happens to their abuser to the degree that their developmental capacity allows. Children are capable of knowing if they are being abused, and when child abuse definitions are based on perception, that gives children more power over their abuser, and more leeway to stop the abuse from going further. Children should have the right to call 9-1-1 to get out an abusive parent, and/or have child protective services remedy the situation through general protective services such as referrals to family counseling and home monitoring. They do it through bugging. What looks like speakers on your monitor could be something else, and covering it up while under investigation could be seen as perjury.

Let the entitled parents BURN! Let them rot in the lake of fire and brimstone, suffering the second death! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

Any comment that
1. Endorses child abuse (including pornography of such)
2. Imposes want to the point of imposition, meaning entitlement.
3. Contains self-entitled parent rhetoric, to the point of self-victimization

will not be published. Flexible application. Debate is allowed, but only civil arguments that presume the best of intentions in their opponent, on both sides.
