Original sin: Why all adults were born in sin

The Christian doctrine of original sin is the most misused and misunderstood teaching in the Christian faith. Yet, original sin is the backbone of Christianity. Without original sin, there would be no need for a Christ. Many parents like to scapegoat their children with the teaching of original sin, instead of focusing on their own sins.

The Greek root word denoting all entitlement, including parental entitlement, and cross-referencing the Tenth Commandment, is πλεονέκτης (Latin: pleonektés) and is defined as, officially speaking, wanting things from children, to the point of imposition. This Greek root word implies that we all were born in sin, as it literally means entitled existence in Ancient Greek, which was assumed of all adults in the Early Church. The core of our sinful nature as adults is deservances. Entitlement of all kinds, including parental entitlement, comes from the attitude that one deserves things in life just for existing, usually with the attitude that they "are a good person/parent" just for existing. YOU, as a parent, are a depraved and decadent sinner, who is deserving of absolutely nothing. When you lose the attitude that you are deserving of things in life, you become much more grateful, and much happier. Entitlement is original sin, and original sin is entitlement, and the two are synonymous. Adults exist as entitled in relation to children, and need to atone for their sinful nature.

What washes away sin? Christian love, of course! The Greek root word denoting Christian love in the New Testament is αγαπαο (Latin: agapao) and refers to, in the context of parenting, prioritizing children first, and yourself as a parent last, to the point of dutiful and selfless submission to children as you would to God, expecting absolutely nothing in return. True Love comes not from pride or desire, but from fearful conviction, where parents are convicted of the fact that they are depraved and decadent sinner who is deserving of absolutely nothing. This creates a sense of urgency, where parents are prompted to earn their goodness by performing good works for their children. In return, children rested safely and securely in the love and submission of parents. See Colossians 3:20-21 KJV:

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to secure, vulnerable rest in the love and grace of parents. Children are to rest securely in the sacrifice of parents, just as parent believers rest securely in the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Parents are to be extensions of Christ in the family home, dutifully and selflessly submitting to children as they would God, expecting absolutely nothing in return, with children resting safely and securely in the submission of parents. Parents are to submit to children as their enemy, from beneath yet from above, revering and fearing children as vulnerable extensions of God.

The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to damages or offenses, namely the slightest of personal offense perceived by a child, including, but limited to, the slightest of offensive touch or speech perceived by a child, stemming from entitlement. This commandment was intended by the Apostle Paul, and understood in its original context, as a moral statute prohibiting all forms of punitive parenting, including any punishments or controlling demeanor towards children. In the Old Testament, punitive parents were put to death by way of bloodletting, after punishing their children one last time. Parents who punished their children were charged with kidnapping, with "kidnapping" being defined under the Law as the slightest of damages or offenses stemming from hostage-taking - child punishment was seen in biblical times as holding your child hostage merely for things that they did wrong, thereby treating your child as a quartered slave. Paul here was lifting up the Law in order to convict a group of Greek Christian parents who brought their pagan custom of spanking and punishing children into the church. Paul, contrary to popular legend, was anti-spanking, and opposed any and all punishment of a child in his writings.

Children are in the providing custody of their parents, primarily that of their mothers, and secondarily that of their fathers. Mothers formed a secure attachment to their children, by way of providing for them nourishment and sustenance, namely attachment parenting items such as breastfeeding and skin-on-skin comfort. During the first 6 years of a child's life, children were in constant closeness to mothers, never leaving her side, being wrapped up in swaddling blankets next to the mother's bosom, perhaps allowing the child to suckle her teat if the child was milk-hungry. Around age 6, children started to shake off the closeness of their mothers, venturing farther and farther from home, exploring the terrain, playing outside with neighborhood friend, and then retreating once more to the sustaining warmth of mothers, most of the time through co-sleeping, with mothers and children being naked when in the family home, and with children being naked everywhere they went until adulthood.

The nature of mankind is inherently depraved. This is because adult-kind has been incurring on child-kind since the beginning of human history. God hates our entitled existence, so much that He wants nothing of us but DEATH and PUNISHMENT. Only a few of us - the elect - will inherit the Kingdom of God. The rest will be tormented forever and ever in the everlasting lake of fire prepared for Satan and his accomplices. See Rom. 3:9-18.

The depraved and entitled parents who provoke their children to anger through punitive parenting will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Let them be forever cast into the lake of fire and burning sulfur, which is the second death prepared for Satan and his accomplices! Let them descend into the abyss which is the lake of fire and torment, suffering God's Wrath forever and ever! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
