Why? It seems a bunch of people cared more about appearances than actually helping someone. It was a smothering experience, the tape was. One should not assume all pedophiles are "help" narcissists, in full form. Sexual aggression towards children is a "help" instinct, but many times, that is the only "help" aspect of the pedophile. Some are the very opposite - distant from adults, perhaps finding them boring or even menacing, and centering their worldview onto children.
Children's rights is about centering that viewpoint in a way that is acceptable to the child's every vulnerable need. I don't help leaving an ideology that is redemptive to me. Like a safe house, on the Internet. Children's rights never hurt me.
