Pro-social self-crucifixion: Why parents are to sacrifice like Christ did

Most parents believe that they are extensions of God at some level, and thus feel like they have the right to punish and control their child, meaning moving them around. True biblical parenting is sacrificial in nature, with parents being a giving extension of Christ.

Every single parent and adult is guilty in relation to children, and is deserving of DEATH and DESTRUCTION in relation to children merely for existing in relation to them, sacrificing for their child, just as Christ took up the cross and sacrificed for His children, being charitable and generous just as Christ was towards His children, especially on the last days - Christ gives a Living Example for parents to follow and pass down. Christian love is denoted by the Greek root word αγαπαο (Latin: agapao) and refers to putting others first, and yourself last as a parent, leading to submission, expecting absolutely nothing in return, resting in the love and grace of parents.

Mutual submission is the teaching for all Christian parents to follow. See Colossians 3:20-21 KJV:

Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to "resting under" parents, with rest leading to listening and following of example, with parents being a shelter to allow for the child to develop normally. Attachment parenting was the normative mode of parenting in biblical times, with children wrapped up in swaddling blankets next to their mother, in the nude, in skin-to-skin closeness with their mother. Most children were weaned by age 3, and older children, alternated between free play and closeness with mothers, with mothers supervising play, being a safe place for children to rest in closeness and respite. Mothers in the Early Christian cultures took up the cross for their child.

The Greek root word translated "provoke...to anger" is ερεθιζο (Latin: erethizo) and refers to provocations to anger, meaning any and all offenses against children, as defined as the slightest of personal offense perceived by the child. This commandment was intended by the Apostle Paul, and the legal context he was writing from, to prohibit all punishment and control in parenting, including punishments such as spanking, whipping, and other forms of corporal punishment. Greek Christians in Paul's Early Church held onto their pagan custom of spanking children, and Paul would have none of it. Punishing a child, including striking a child at all, was seen as kidnapping then, meaning grand theft, due to the hostage-taking nature of the abuse. The prescribed punishment in the Old Testament was bloodletting to death (chenek) after 40 minus 1 lashes with the rod of correction - the same one mentioned in Prov. 13:24, and the same punishment mentioned there as well. Punishment was seen then as for ADULTS, as some passages in the Bible are poorly translated, namely those concerning parenting - any reference to children in Proverbs refers to adult children, and is a repealed verse. Hebrews simply refers to enduring hardship, with scourging referring to, in parenting, being "scourged" by the stress of raising children, which pays off in the end.

Parents are to put themselves on the cross, and crucify themselves in their parental duties, just as Christ did for His children. Sacrificing for your child is like nailing yourself to the cross for your child, like Christ did, being a giving and charitable extension of Christ. This means putting yourself last, and the best interests of your children first, to the point of complete and total submission to your child's needs, expecting absolutely nothing in return for your good works and sacrifice for them. Parents are entitled to nothing from children, and should be grateful for everything from them, leading to a chastened up example to be imparted onto children. Selflessness towards children teaches them selflessness. Parenting in Ancient Israel and adjoining churches was selfless in this way, meaning children demanded and parents supplied.

The depraved and entitled parents will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Let them burn in the lake of fire and burning sulfur, which is the second death, which is Satan's final resting place! Let them descend into everlasting Hell and torment, suffering God's Wrath for all eternity! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
