Why spanking is already banned in America (getting the secular authorities to comply)

Many parents believe that spanking is an acceptable form of discipline, and perhaps that gentle parenting is a sin. The reality is that spanking is already illegal, depending on your determination of illegal. Under the secular law? Still acceptable. Under Divine Jurisprudence? Absolutely not.

We get our legal traditions ultimately not from England, but from Israel, transported throughout the world by Christ's death and resurrection. The Mosaic Law was the legal system of ancient Israel, and was chosen by God to be passed on throughout the world. God hates the punishment of children, and the evildoer who imposes it. Woe to the parent who hates their child like that.

It says in Ephesians 6:1-4 KJV:

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your child to anger, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

The Greek root word translated "obey" is υπακουο (Latin: hupakouo) and refers to surrender coming from surrender from parents, with the Greek root word translated "parents" being γονέυς (Latin: goneus) and literally translates to a servile form of bond with your child that sees them as an extension of God, thus next to Him in terms of priorities. Being a parent is not, in the true biblical tense, punishing and controlling children in the name of God. It is serving the needs of children as you would Christ. Parenting then was attachment-based, with children staying very close to parents, and children up to 3 years of age being seen as infants by society. Breastfeeding was normalized, and children customarily were carried by their mothers at a young age in a papoose bag.

The Greek root word translate "nurture" is παιδεία (Latin: paideia) and refers to discipline and self-control in a child, modeled in children by having parents model that attitude for them, and siphon that energy to the presence of parents by way of pro-social pedophilia - an example would be "you can tell us anything, and we're here to listen. You don't have to tell your friends". The Greek root word νουθεσια (Latin: nouthesia) refers to verbal correction, in a non-violent manner, as the non-violence required in the correction is denoted by the Greek root word παρορλιζο (Latin: parorgizo) and referred to legal damages, both momentary and long term, meaning basically whatever the child perceives as hostile, offensive, threatening, or frightening from an adult, stemming from parental entitlement to control.

The depraved and wicked parents who refuse to admit their entitled parent nature will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
